In 2018, Kaylee Kuehn worked her first session in Olympia as a Senate intern. She learned about the legislative process and built strong connections, leading her to return as a session aide in the 2019 and 2020 sessions.

She went on to earn her master’s degree in Secondary Education and taught high school math, history, and government for four years in the Seattle area. In 2024, Kaylee started consulting for the nonprofit, The Building Bridges Project, which seeks to teach civility skills to high schoolers. She provided curriculum creation, videography and editing, and digital marketing services. She now serves as their Social Media & Marketing Director.

Kaylee has also provided custom campaign packages for clients, including website design and management, individual headshots and family photography, and print media design consultation.

Her ties to Olympia are strong. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College, and she met and married her husband under the dome in the legislative building.

Kaylee now offers clients legislative support both locally and in Olympia during the legislative session.
